Who operates this site

Inyonitech Solutions is operated by Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. You can reach us at hello@inyonitech.com, and the company's Information Officer can be reached at the same address. We do not publish a street address here; if a regulator needs one, write to the mailbox and it will be provided.

What we collect

This site has no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter. The only personal information that reaches us is what you choose to send: an email to hello@inyonitech.com, or the form on the contact page. Nothing else you type into a page here is sent to us.

What is stored on your device

One item is kept in your browser's storage, so the site remembers what you set or made: inyonitech:sound. It stays on your device, we never see it, and it does not identify you.

The site works with storage blocked; you get the defaults each time. The cookies and storage page says what each item holds and how to clear it.

Hosting

The pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes the ordinary information a browser sends in order to deliver a page: your IP address, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. It uses that to serve the site and to defend it against attack. We do not keep server logs of our own.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it stores no identifier on your device and does not follow you between sites. It reports which page was viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, roughly which country the request came from, and how quickly the page loaded. What we see is counts. We never see a person.

Advertising

Inyonitech Solutions carries no advertising. Google's advertising script does not load on any page, and no advertisement is shown.

Email

If you write to hello@inyonitech.com, we keep your message and your address for up to 24 months after the exchange ends, then delete them. We use them only to answer you and to keep a record of what was said. We do not add you to any list, and there is no list to add you to.

Mail to that address is received by Cloudflare's email routing, which passes it on to the mailbox we read it in. Both are run by providers who may process it outside South Africa. We keep your message because you wrote to us and asked for an answer, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping a record of what was said.

Contact form

If you send the form on the contact page, we store your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, what your business does, what you need, and any timing or budget you give. The database is run by Cloudflare, and only we can read it. We use the details to answer you and to keep a record of what was said. We do not add you to any list, and there is no list to add you to.

We keep a form request for up to 24 months after the exchange ends, or from the day it arrived if we never close it, then delete it automatically. The form does not store your IP address. Cloudflare uses the address for a moment to limit how often the form can be sent, and we do not keep it.

Children

Inyonitech Solutions is written for adults. It is not directed at children, and it never asks anyone their age, their name or anything else about them.

South African law treats anyone under 18 as a child, and the US COPPA rule anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in either group. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to hello@inyonitech.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice the answer is only what you sent us yourself: an email, or a request through the contact form. Write to hello@inyonitech.com and we will answer.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator in South Africa, to the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom, or to your own national data protection authority in the European Union.
